photos by the darling Kelsey | [shirt] ancient Banana [skirt] epically on sale Banana [shoes] super old Shoemint but super obsessed with this fancy pair o pumps! [bracelet] Kate Spade joie de vivre, similar and equally awesome. As those who know me can attest, I have quite an issue with authority, I may have mentioned it before… Let me explain, it's not because I can't respect someone in a position above me, but in the way that I don't like anyone to feel like they have to be confined or put in a box. Total art school hippie mentality. I like to stand up for the little guy… I don't like people to be judged solely on their outward appearance, and I LOVE when folks do a little something unexpected! Especially when it comes to their wardrobe! I like to think of my style as a weido, chic, boho, casual rocker, so on the days when I want to dress like my name is Arabella and I'm going to brunch with my fundraising committee ladies, I do it and I enjoy it!!! Fashion is meant to be fun, so have fun! I love a good pencil skirt and paired with the silk top, we have a sweet respectable little look. I can't do anything without a little flare, so add some leopard print booties and you are good to go.
Oh and come on, how freaking adorable is Franklin the dog!? I mean, COME. ON. Perfection.
So tell me, tell me. Do you have a fashion alter ego?

I never would've guessed that I was a camouflage pant kinda person, that's more The Captain's thing, but when I tried this pair of BR heritage pants on I was sold. Almost. The fit was perfection, I just wasn't ready for the jelly. I put them back and left with only a new chambray shirt because this girl doesn't think there is such a thing as "too many chambray shirts." Those who disagree are more than welcome to kiss my ass. I got a 40% of coupon the next day and BAM! Online purchased. I love the simplicity of this look. It's so easy, so comfortable. Don't even get me started on the shoes. I should write an open letter to Cole Haan professing my undying love. I'm a big fan of walking around on pillows cotton candy clouds. Lalalalove!! I think the key to camo is to keep everything else pretty tame! Whatcha think? Would you ever rock camo?
How brilliant is the skirt!? It's my first "vintage" piece of clothing and it couldn't be more on trend. I can't wait to rock it at a holiday party, but for now I will just enjoy it with two of my favorite basics! Chambray and silver pumps, BOOM! If you are in San Diego you must check out G Street Gypsy in the East Village downtown. Totally worth the trip and bonus, they have a pet pig!! I'm also a little obsessed with my new rings from Etsy, one of them is from the seller Betsy and Iya and I am in love, everything down to the packaging is just fabulous!! Can't say enough great things! They have interesting pieces at great prices!! I will definitely be a repeat customer. I'm currently digging this piece and this one... these too.
